Mobile University® MOBILE APPLICATIONS
Mobile University® College Search Pro is a comprehensive college and scholarship research mobile application. With Mobile University College Search Pro, users can take control of their college research, as well as communicate with schools under their own terms.
Mobile University® College Atlas & Trip Planner is a mobile application that allow users to be able to view a geographical representation of more than 4,500 colleges and universities in the United States. The trip planning features will allow you to plan a college road trip, and clearly identify which schools to visit.
Mobile University® Just Sports is the mobile application that makes searching for collegiate athletic programs as simple as four easy steps. Once performed, Just Sports will display a list of the collegiate athletic programs in the Mobile University® database that meet your search parameters.
User Provided Information
These Applications obtain information you provide when you download them.
When you download these Applications, you may provide (a) your name, general location, gender, user name, password and other information; (b) information you provide us when you contact us for help; (c) information you enter into our system when using these Applications, such as contact information. This information may be used by our Application search features.
How We Use This Information
We may use the information you provided us to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.
We do not sell your name, email address, home address, and user name. We may distribute this information to colleges and universities only after obtaining your permission first. We may also collect general location information such as city, state, and postal code without your permission for research data for our partners.
Automatically Collected Information
In addition, these Applications may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use these Applications.
Aggregated, anonymized data is periodically collected to help us improve these Applications and our services.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
These Applications may collect precise information about the location of your mobile device for use by the built in location features. For example, in our application, Mobile University® College Atlas & Trip Planner, we may use your current location to identify and display nearby colleges and universities.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by these Applications?
We will use your information only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- if Leverage Applications / E-Step Consulting, Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.
What are my opt-out rights?
You can stop all collection of information by using the feature to close your account and uninstall the Applications. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device to opt-out.
Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use these Applications and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 7 years. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for these Applications to function properly.
We do not use these Applications to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at email@example.com. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Applications.
